On to Smashwords
Neptune Crossing is now available on Smashwords, from which it will go out to the Sony ebookstore, Barnes & Noble, the Apple store, and others. $2.99, in a variety of formats.
I've tweaked the cover a little, because the red type just didn't display well on the store pages. (Scroll down a couple of posts to see the original.) Wondering a little if I should hire a professional to make it look better—a couple of people have told me they didn't care for it very much—but I'm not sure. What do you think?

I liked the red lettering better but since the idea is to actually sell here, yeah the this way definitely stands out more and is easier to read. As for the cover art while abstract it is colorful and draws the eye to it so I don't see that as a bad thing. - Marco
Not to offend, but when looking at this cover gives off a bit of the first time, self-pubbed author vibe when in fact you are a author with a long history of published books.
Putting this cover next to your most recent professionally created book cover and there's a pretty dramatic difference.
Just want to see you get the audience you deserve, I've really enjoyed the chaos series!

I appreciate your comment. Several other people have had a similar reaction. Still others have said they liked it better than the original publisher's cover. If I could change one thing about it, it would be to have more striking type treatment.
I'll probably revisit the covers after I have the text of the other books ready. This is very much an "as time permits" process.
